The goal of this Center was to provide comprehensive mental health services to older adults. He continues to provide geriatric assessments and neuropsychological evaluations. Specific areas of focus or expertise include the diagnosis of various forms of dementia and cognitive impairment, behavioral management of dementia, issues surrounding competency, and the functional assessment of older adults. In this Episode, we will discuss the benefits of a neuropsychological evaluation that go far beyond the diagnosis.
