Hello Care Partners, Let me introduce you to Jude Jones, a native of Cincinnati, who resides in West Chester Township. Jude’s professional background includes both music therapy and working as a professional musician. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music therapy from the College of Mt. St. Joseph and a master’s degree in education from Xavier University. She is passionate about using music in creative ways to assist clients with dementia.

Certified Board Music Therapist with over 40 years of experience including mental health, dementia and hospice. Served as music therapist from for Cedar Village Retirement Center in Mason, Ohio from 2006-2022.

  • • Designed and implemented special resident programs including a bell choir, resident chorus, and creative music programs for the dementia unit.

  • • Wrote and directed 6 plays in collaboration with an art therapist and co-songwriter. These plays were performed by the residents of Cedar Village for family and the community.

  • Professional Musician (multi-instrumentalist including violin, piano, and guitar)

  • • Violinist with the Kentucky Symphony for 30 years.

  • • Contract studio musician: compose and play violin/fiddle parts on other artist’s projects.

  • • Director for Sharonville Chorus from 2000-2020. • Violinist for St. Stephen Church in Cincinnati, Ohio since 2007. Subs on piano as needed.

  • • Performs regularly with Clark and Jones Celtic Trio for churches, Retirement Centers, and special community events.

Her compassion for people living with Dementia is evident as soon as you meet her. She will provide your organization or family with excellent insight and care.
