Hello Care Partners, Please help me welcome my friend Dr. Joanna Fix to our podcast. In her early 40's Joanna was an academic star with an incredible career. She had earned three college degrees including her PHD, and was chair of criminal justice and management at a major university. She worked as a specialist in organizational psychology and consulted with law enforcement. A few short years later, the activities that we take for granted were posing new challenges for Joanna and the long hours of doctor appointments and testing had begun. By the time she was 48 the reality of living with Young Onset Alzheimers was documented in her chart but her spirit to be all she can be was still alive and well.
