Communication abilities frequently change for people living with Dementia. We soon realize that the only one who can change the way they do things is us. The ones with a healthy brain. We can't say, "Remember when... or Do you remember my name? These are unfair requests and we need to learn early to be part of the solution and not part of the problem so our relationships can grow together not crumble apart.
